I have this theory, similar to the cat and dog theory. You are either a dog person, or a cat person.
This is my theory: You are either a when harry met sally person, or a sleepless in seattle person. But not both.
my personal favorites are: Cider House Rules, Red Violin, When Harry met Sally, Singles, Chasing Amy, Shakespeare in Love, Return to Me. But most importantly: The Apartment… oh yeah and this little indie flick, The Other Half of Me

My favorite sappy movie has a series also… Sailor Moon…. Beautiful anime series with top rate animation….
Not sure if it’s so sappy, because it is funny, but I always liked the Princess Bride. It has real fairy tale appeal.
If luthein’s theroy holds water, I am Harry & Sally person, too … I’ve heard good things about that ‘The Other Half Of Me’ movie … maybe it’s all hype though … 😉

When Harry Met Sally (I was only 10 when I watched Sleepless in Seattle, so I don’t remember much of it….except that I visited the Empire State Building for the first time, the day I watched it in the cinema!)….The American President….The Object of my Affection…don’t know if you could call them sappy, but I like them 🙂 Music from Another Room (I *think* that’s what it’s called….it’s got Jude Law in it…yum!) ..I’m sure there are loads more!
