New Game For Xanganites …

If you’ve ever palyed “Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon“, this will make perfect sense …

I was reading and replying to a comment on Prometheus‘ site tonight and I told him about a game I sometimes play when bored or when exploring new Xanga sites. The rules are as follows …

1. Go to the “Find Members” page.
2. Pick a random letter for the first letter of a member’s name.
3. A list of all member’s names starting with that letter will appear. Pick a site that you have never read or heard of.
4. Through their “Sites I Read” links or links from their comments, try to link back to one of the following Xanga members sites within six jumps: James or holly_green

This game is almost fool proof … have fun!

Note: If the member has not started a log or has both no comments or listed sites to link to, pick another person.

Don’t Kiss Mirrors …

According to a radio report, a middle school in Oregon was faced with a unique problem. A number of girls were beginning to use lipstick and would put it on in the bathroom. That was fine, but after they put on their lipstick they would press their lips to the mirror leaving dozens of little lip prints.

Finally the principal decided that something had to be done. She called all the girls to the bathroom and met them there with the maintenance man. She explained that all these lip prints were causing a major problem for the custodian who had to clean the mirrors every night. To demonstrate how difficult it was to clean the mirrors, she asked the maintenance guy to clean one of the mirrors.

He took out a long-handled squeegee, dipped it into the toilet and then cleaned the mirror. Since then there have been no lip prints on the mirror.

Moulin Rogue …

I finished watching “Moulin Rouge” in Art Apprecitiation class today … It was filmed in 1952 in Technicolor … what a neat movie. It’s based on the life of Lautrec … interesting. He was an artist in the 1890’s in Paris. Here is a print of his that I own … I really like this class …
