The Child That Might Have Been
I mourn the child that might have been
She seemed so happy and bright
But someone stole her joy away
And robbed her eyes of their light
Someone told her that she wasn’t
Good enough to follow her dreams
She sat down and remained still
And is in that same spot now, it seems
I mourn the child that might have been
And weep for the woman here now
And though she could’ve changed it all
She never really knew how

Start listening to that inner voice inside yourself and you will learn how. I suspect you are on the track to a total being, beautiful!
YOU ARE A BRIGHT LIGHT!
I rejoice for the child that still is,
though she fears that dawn’s dark and not light,
the woman without still the child within,
about to emerge from the night!
Ahhh! You’re bad! Gotta make me feel crappy on my own site now? I’m kidding … I like it NFP. You ARE the man. 😉
