A Little Freud In Me

I really enjoy doing dream analysis.  My own dreams now are pretty cut-and-dry most of the time.  They’re either 1) my seeing someone from my life that has died and trying to tell them not to do whatever it is that they do when they die or 2) I dream something that is going to happen.

I have been known to have the off the wall kind of dreams, too.  I never had dreams where I could actually fly.  I had to pedal an imaginary bike around.  (I even had to work in my dreams … *pfffft*)  I could see places and things from an aerial view.  I landed on roofs and housetops.  It was pretty awesome, I must say.  Who knows, there could have been some out-of-body experience stuff going on there.

My friends clammer for me to pick apart their dreams.  It’s a little unfair, though.  I know more about them and can really get to the root of the matter.  That makes things easier on my part.

Anyone have something they want me to take a shot at?  I was just at Abaxail’s site and tried to lend him a hand.  I’m here if ya do … plunk your heiney down and tell what it is that is troublin’ ya …

  1. Try this one: I don’t dream anymore. I haven’t for a long time, at least not something I remembered. The last dream I had that I remember was well over 6 months ago…..sometimes I wonder if the things going on in my head while I’m sleeping are too terrible and my self-survival mechanism is kicking in and blocking them out……I miss dreams, they were a huge source of my creativity….

  2. Perhaps you are right … but …

    1) Try to eat something REALLY spicy before you go to bed.  ‘Makes me dream all kinds of crazy stuff.

    2) Take Tylenol PM or some other good sleep drug.  Perhaps you aren’t getting enough of the deep, deep sleep you need to dream.

‘Good luck and let me know if anything helps …
