In reading a comment left on my site I got to thinking about a certain Xanganite … I think that everyone should have a poem written about them at some point in their life, especially someone who gives so much laughter and so many shared smiles. This is for you, James …
In the left corner of my screen
When your face and pipe I see
You look as if you are sitting
In your chair smiling back at me
Giggling at your honesty
But respecting it all the same
Feeling like I’ve visited a friend
Though I know little more than your name
Going out into the non-virtual world
With a smile on my face for the day
Little comments creep into my head
I wonder about things I do and say
Thanks for sharing you innermost thoughts
For us to inspect ourselves
Thanks for being so open and true
No opinions stuck on your shelves
– guess who, 01.21.01
That made me cry. Thank you. I needed that just now.
You are so welcome.
