Favorite Daily Routines

1 waking up and kissing and/or tickling my husband until he wakes up giggling

2 listening to and belting out songs while in the shower (inevitably snorting water and/or soap up my nose, which makes me laugh and often leads to another snort) and while I play with my hair and decide whether or not to do the makeup thing

3 singing to my dog after her morning or late afternoon walk (her favorite song is “It Had To Be You”) and following it with her tummy rub

4 ripping off the new page from my (sadly, now the last) Far Side daily calendar

5 checking my email

6 sitting down and reading something, anything, whatever – even if it is the local joke-of-a-paper
